St. Timothy Award

Congratulations to Duncan Kelly

on receiving the St. Timothy Award!

Every year our Diocese awards the St. Timothy Award to a High School Student.  The recipient of this award is one who follows in the footsteps of St. Timothy through a vibrant and enthusiastic faith in Jesus and puts that faith into action through service for others and is an active practicing Catholic who shows great commitment to the parish’s youth ministry.  This year’s recipient is our own, Duncan Kelly.  Duncan will receive this award at 10:30 a.m. Mass, May 1st.

Congratulations Duncan from all of us here at St. Barnabas!  You’ve done well!

Please come out to enjoy an evening of GREAT MUSIC presented by the one and only High Seas Orchestra on May 21 at 7PM

Our core team, together with the core teams of St. Pius X, St. Mary’s Barnegat, and St. Theresa, Tuckerton, recently gathered to discuss the issues that were raised from the various surveys of the parishes.

The major area of this first discussion was that of how we can involve more young people to become more actively involved in the parish.  Our young people are the future and each of them brings to the Church certain gifts, talents and opportunities for growth in the parish.

The second issue was the availability of Masses and the attendance at Masses.  It’s a major concern in every church.  The cohorts (the parishes) will come together shortly to continue the study on how these concerns and other issues can be resolved within the parishes of the cohorts.  More information will be forth coming.

Please continue to pray for the success of these meetings and the process of Faith in Our Future!

Website Sponsorships Available!

  • Please consider participating in this effort since the revenue from the ads is what makes the website possible at no cost to the parish.
  • It’s a great way to get your name in front of the families in the parish.  Advertisements may be purchased for a business, family memorial, or you can sponsor an ad supporting Catholic Charities, Knights of Columbus, Vocations, etc.
  • Please give these ideas some thought. We need and appreciate your help!  If you are interested or just curious as to prices and want more information, please contact 732.551.3364 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
